29. Always imply, in every possible way, that the person you’re talking to is smarter, better-looking, slimmer, and more successful than they really are.
Reminisce of 2010
This is my first post that is actually more than a couple of sentences. One thing I pray for at the beginning of this year is that God would take me through experiences to grow and push me. Through this year I’ve learned some solid facts, that I’m sure becomes common knowledge to most people as they grow.
- Let life happen - sometime no matter what provisions you make to make something not happen, or to protect yourself, emotionally, spiritually, or relationship wise. Some things just need to happen, and sometimes, and most of the time there is no explanation or good reasoning that. Sometimes we need to roll with the punches, and keep going, knowing there is a better future ahead of us.
- Work Hard - There is nothing in the world that is worth having and keeping that is not gained through hard work, sometimes through yours and sometimes through someone else’s. If we want to gain anything worth having and keeping it takes hard work and perseverance.
Theres more, I’ll edit it later as it comes to me but thats all for right now.
